Kabab Spot | Our Story

A Palestinian table in Fort Myers
Kabab Spot opened on South Cleveland Avenue in 2012 to bring the real flavors of Palestinian cooking to Fort Myers. The recipes, the Certified Zabiha Halal meat, and the way we welcome guests all grew from that same intention.
How Aladdin found his calling
Ismael "Aladdin" Kananeh started in restaurants at age 12, working every role the industry offers until he understood it from the inside out. That hands-on journey — built on decades of learning and genuine love for the craft — led him to open a place of his own.
Recipes carried through generations
The food at Kabab Spot is rooted in Palestinian culinary traditions passed down through generations — knowledge that lives in technique, proportion, and memory. When you taste the hummus, the falafel, or the tabbouleh here, you're tasting something made with care for a very long time.
The food and the standard
Every kabab, shawarma, lamb dish, and natural fruit drink is made with fresh ingredients and Certified Zabiha Halal meat — no shortcuts, no substitutions. We hold that standard because the people who sit down at our tables deserve it.
Where you eat matters
Aladdin has always believed hospitality is as important as the food itself — that warmth and welcome shape whether a meal becomes a memory. We try to make every visit feel like you were expected.
